2017 - Fight The Good Fight

HAAPPYYYYYY NEWWWW YEAR BLOGGERS!!!

So, here's a common question, what is your new year resolution? Jawab dalam hati saja lah kio ;)
I don't have class the whole afternoon, so I took this opportunity to update my blog even tho there's paperwork waiting for me. Nevermind, hehe.

2016.

If I were asked to choose few words to describe it, I would choose 'Roller-coaster', 'Unpredictable' and 'Blessings'. Why?  I planned for 'A' but I got 'B' and sometimes I got 'C' or nothing at all or I got 'D' which is totally not in my list. Getting an 'A' was very rare.

I started last year by enrolling in MBA course. Vowing to finished it in 2 years duration and vowing not to get married before I graduated in MBA. HAHA. But after just 2 semesters, I had to defer it (I think I talked about it before here in this blog) and supposedly I will continue it this month but the college managements' was not that really 'encouraging' their employees to pursue their study at this moment, they talked to me last month and I don't have any choice either. Ini ialah private sector ok? AND to my surprise, I got engaged last year and was scheduled to get married this year T.T .HAHA. See I told ya, it's like a roller-coaster and very very unpredictable. It wasn't in my plan at all. Tapi orang cakap, look at the bright side. I tried tho.

Blessings? My family has been and always be my greatest blessings from above. I thanked God, for their existence in my life. My mama and bapa is my pillar of strength, my great supporter in every decision that I made in my life, they gave me the freedom of choices. My brother started his own business last year while the other two younger ones working hard with their studies. Last year, I met them 5 times only. Somewhere in February, July, August, September and December. Syukurlah nak. Another blessing? My very first car! Just a Malaysian manufactured car but at least it's very convenient to move around. Another one? Officially off market, one step closer to then next stage of life with my man ;) Being able to workout consistently last year was my great privileged and blessing as well. I was able to shred few kilos, eat clean, maintain my weight and stamina. Tho I deferred it and still not sure when I will continue it, being able to enrolled in MBA was a blessing. Andddddd so much more, it will took forever to list it down here.

Hardship? Of course I experienced and encountered it last year. But they said, talk more about your blessings :)

So, I will continue to fight a good fight in this year! I hope I can reduce all the bad habits that I got :p

Cheers. Take care everyone.

My Crossfit Journey - Part 1

So, how do I start this.. The beginning is always the hardest part. Well, I’ve been planning to rant about my journey with Crossfit for several months now, but I keep on postponing it until today. I joined Crossfit 673 Jerudong last year. I’ve never known about Crossfit before this, all I know is, it was a gym, a fitness center which was located 2-3 minutes walking distance from my place here in Brunei.

During that time, it was only about 8 months since I started working here, my friends and I felt that we gained weight so much because all we did was just going to work and staying at home afterwards. FYI, I was 56kg during that time. Haha. And I personally felt that life was so bored during that time. Yes, we have a super fast internet connection where you can just browse and watch everything without buffering problem, but sometimes I long for a physical activity where I will be able to sweat and move around. Then we started our jogging activity at the Jerudong Park Parking Area (3-4 minutes drive from my place). We will jog like 2-3 times per week, either early morning around 4.30 am or in the afternoon after work, around 6.00 pm. I even bought a new jogging shoes. It was fun at the beginning, but as time passed by I felt bored again and sometimes I have no motivation to jog and all I want is being lazy. Typical me, haha.

During that time also, my ex-colleagues, H and K was members of Crossfit 673 Jerudong. They keep on inviting us to join Crossfit. They said that the first class is free and asked us to just come and try. They did mention that Crossfit has a foundation class also for the beginners. So, I together with Donna and Sansan decided to join the foundation class. I remembered during that time I was actually not that eager to join, but I am concerned about my belly fat, which was getting bigger during that time till I need to buy a new pants. I joined it without thinking much, without any research about what Crossfit really is. And if only Donna and Sansan did not join during that time, I’m sure that I won’t join it as well.

Then my journey with Crossfit begin,

I can’t remember the exact date when we enrolled our first class of the foundation, but it was somewhere in early May 2015. During that time, the foundation class was being held every Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 7.00 pm. The classes was run for 3 weeks if I’m not mistaken and we paid BND100 for it. Coach Nash, Coach Reza and Coach Justin are the coaches for the foundation during that time. It was more than a year ago, I remembered learning everything from the scratch such as the name of the workout, how to do the movement in every workout and even the name of the equipment. There will be a short lecture before we start off every session, and yes the coaches guided us diligently to make sure we mastered the basic movement. I have NEVER imagined myself doing a weightlifting before, NEVER.. I don't know that Crossfit does weightlifting. But, I did it. Haha.

Screenshot-ed this from crossfit673jerudong IG.

So, I managed to finish the 3 weeks foundation class but that's not the end. We have an exam guys, I repeat, an EXAM for the Crossfitter's foundation class. I did mentioned that we have lecture before every session right, and actually during the short lecture we learned what Crossfit really is theoretically, we learn about eating clean, motivation toward fitness and also about a healthy lifestyle. There's a lot more but I can't remember the rest. The day before the exam, the 3 of us studied enthusiastically because we wanted to pass, who does not want right? And I Google-ed a lot about Crossfit. The exam basically tests our knowledge about Crossfit not only in theory but by practical. I remembered part of the exam when one of the coaches will do the workout movement and we have to identify and write down its name. The head coach which is Coach Justin will text us the results of the test, to inform whether we passed or failed. Whoever passes will get a free Jbox t-shirt.

Bought this during that time.

So, did I managed to pass? Wait for the Part 2 :)

Till then bloggers. XOXO

10 Things I am Thankful For..

I received the bookmark above during the Women of Destiny conference at church a few months ago. Looking at how it looks like, I know that it was a handmade. But put aside of that cause what important most is the content, the Words spoken there. It reminds me to always be thankful :)

So 10 things I am thankful for today;

1. I am thankful for the fact that I am still breathing at this moment.
2. I am thankful for my family who have been my great pillar of strength.
3. I am thankful for having a special someone who can tolerate with me through my ridiculousness
4. I am thankful for my current job.
5. I am thankful for my car.
6. I am thankful for being able to workout through Crossfit.
7. I am thankful for my friends who have been one of my source of happiness.
8. I am thankful for being able to shop things that I wanted.
9. I am thankful for being able to eat lots of delicious food.
10. I am thankful for being me.

October 2016

Dear Diary..

I missed my blogging time last month. Grr. So trying to keep up with it for this month. New semester has just began last week, they updated the timetable and hence every Monday afternoon I don't have any class. Yay!

So let's rewind what happened last month;

  • College Orientation Day - They appointed me as one of the key person for this event tho I don't have any experiences being in this position before. I thanked God that it was over now, everything went well except for the few unavoidable errors. It was challenging and stressful as in the same time I need to finish my marking and submit the student's mark and every single time I'm counting days to get it done a.s.a.p, Being in this position, you can see the true colours for every single person  that was involved. Some were doing this task perfectly good and beyond satisfactory level but some..I don't know what to say lah~
  • 5 days holiday only! - I was planning to take a 1 week break last month, I need to balik kampung as I had an important errand that need to be settle down but my holiday were not approved (my first time ever T.T) and I only being given a 5 days leave and were asked to take the leave not on the dates that I've planned. 100% my plan were being destroyed last month and I have to admit I was lost for a moment. But somehow, God made a way, everything, again went well tho my life were totally upside down during that time.
  • Pre-engagement? - So basically, his parents+family came to meet my family back at kampung last month to discuss more about us and our future planning (this is the errand I'm talking about previously). Supposed to be, it's on 16 Sept but we have to move it earlier to 9 Sept with less than a week notice. All because of my leave disapproval, damn it. I was about to postpone the whole things.
  • Farewell - Some of my colleagues has ended their journey with this college last month. Some were totally unpredictable. We're getting lesser. But I pray for the best for every single of you.
Till then everyone. Stay safe.

Never Give Up

Greetings everyone. Can't believe the month of August almost come to an end. Well, I'm grateful enough to spent time with this blog even just once in a month. It was more than enough. Today as usual, we're working half day on Saturday, came to the office and straight away working with my BTEC slides and around 11.00am I attended a meeting regarding the upcoming orientation week for the new intake this September. I left the office around 12.30pm and straight away went to Ricebowl for lunch, together with my friend, SanSan. Then, back to the staffhouse and laundry time it is. Weekend indeed is the time for it.

Well, yaa~ it's just a normal routine but deep in mind and heart I am calculating every single area of my life. I just done with my post-grad second semester exam last week and for sure I added another subject to be repeated which is really frustrating by the way. I really can't focus on my study due to my commitments toward my job. They keep on adding the commitments like we are a robot and the only thing they said was "Time Management". How cruel they are.  I really can't handle the stress and pressure, it took away my happiness and joy. So, I was planning to defer my study, it totally break my heart to came out with this decision but there's nothing much I can do. I discussed this matter with my dad, I mentioned to him that I can't focus on my study, I was all over the places handling my job day and night. Then my cool dad said, "It is okay for you to defer, study should be fun". His statement did convinced me more regarding this matter as I felt that it wasn't fun and exciting like before. I'm losing my grip. Even my loved one, did mentioned the same thing. He said our life is like the electric extension wire or the extension cord. Imagine we put all of our electrical appliances on it, it might blown up. There's a limit for it and the same theory were applied in our life. He was the one who had witnessed me being super stress and crazy, he know how extreme my grumpiness have been and probably that's why he agreed with my decision. I am totally hurt to came out with this decision, they did not forced me but I am the one who decides on it. Deferring it doesn't mean this is the end, no, exactly no. It might take time to finished this but one thing for sure I won't give up. So, when I will continue? Well, I planned to defer it just for a semester but I really don't know. Clueless. I leave this matter on God's hand.

Another thing is I am in the process of getting ready to enter the next stage of my life. I heard a lot from people to just enter that stage only when you are really ready, only when you are stable enough already, only when you've enough cash or money.. But one question is, when you will be ready? The nature of human beings are they never easily get satisfied with what they already have. They wants more and more and more. Enough cash? Money or the cash will never get enough. We will never get enough of it. So, enough with that kind of questions and mindset and just go through it. And that's what I'm gonna do.

So right now, I should focus on what in front of me. 100% commitment towards it. Slowly regaining my joy and happiness again. I will never give up. Great things take time. I can do all things through Him who give me strength. Amen.

Till then bloggers.

Life, It shall always not be good~

Not a great day to start off my week. I rested well during the weekend, get enough sleep but still not good enough to enthusiast me. Tired. Demotivated. I need some more rest I think,  the last time I took holiday that enabled me to chill at my hometown was back in February. 3 months ago.

*****

Not enough with that. Personal relationship problems. I really can't tolerate with doubts, being accused for such a nonsense reason and false statement. Those actions remind me the old him which make me wonder, did he really changed for good or not?

*****

Less than 2 days, we will say hello to June. Which indicates that, I have roughly one month left to get my assignments done. #studentsduty Both assignments were quite challenging because it's more on critical thinking and I have not started yet. But on top of that, June is the month of marking my student's assessment, submission of students progress report together with their e-portfolio and assessment development. T.T

*****

Budgetary. I created my personal cash flow forecast worth-ed 3 months ahead. It's my monthly routine actually but this time round I have to planned for more than a month. Why? Starting next month I have to fly back to KK, monthly basis due to various solid reasons. Anddddd the airplane tickets were freaking mahal! My goodness. BSB-BKI, operated by Royal Brunei Airlines only, so no choice. I need to pay all the bills, car loan and school fees. It's not that I can't afford it but I need to save money but how lah if like this *sigh*

*****

Today is the wedding day of my cousin a.k.a childhood friend. I'm so frustrated that I can't go home to join the celebration of their love. I missed their engagement ceremony and now I missed their wedding. Bounded to the commitment of work and plus 2 different country will never have exactly the same public holiday. It's a normal working day here~

*****

Just recently my physical condition getting weird. I woke up with a really bloated face, including my lips which rarely happened to me. My back acne suddenly attacking me again. I got 2 lines of eye-bag which I didn't even realized if my box's member did not mentioned it. Is it because of the stress of work? Stress of life? Too much thinking? Or is it because of the foods that I ate? I have no idea.

*****

It's not that when I wrote down everything here, when I voice out my endless complaints here it will solve the problem. No, not at all. But I just want to be real. I'm just a typical human being that faced this kind of situation also.

....and it shall always not bad, we only have to work hard. Be strong girl!

Customer Service

Free 1 slot this afternoon and I've to invigilate students' exam later on by 3.30 pm. So I've few minutes to update my blog. The sudden urge to write on something again. Well, after the lunch break just now, I opened up the Reader's Digest Malaysia site and the article by Kathy Buchanan with a title of "Are you being served?" caught my attention and end up reading it thoroughly. Based on my business-education background, I am totally agree with her points. With that I meditate on myself regarding my own experience with this customer services.

I'm that kind of person who will ask lots of questions if I don't understand or unsure on certain things. Thus, I always took the benefits of the moderns Information and Communication Technologies nowadays to get in contact with the customer service department in any kind of organization especially in Malaysia. I'll file my inquiries normally via email or phone call. But since I'm currently working abroad, sending an email was my first choice. To save my phone bills of course!

Some organization did provide a very good customer service, some just so-so and some just totally need to fix their customer service. Just recently I emailed the customer service in one of the Malaysian automobile company. Since I'm gonna have my first car inspection service, of course I have tons of questions to be ask. The thing is, the person in charge of my inquiries does not answer my questions at all. Not once, but twice! She did replied but she's not answering my questions and asked me to call their toll free-number. I tried to call but since I'm out of the country, I couldn't reach them even I dialed it together with the country code number. I even arrange my email properly and check all the grammars (I'm still learning to improve on this) to ensure that she will understand my questions. But the result is still the same. Kind off disappointed. I am still trying to figure out ways on getting the answer. I hope they can fix this. Should focus on the customer's email also, not the phone calls only.

But looking on the bright side, most of the organizations such as PTPTN, Zalora , OUM, BKNS, UMS, Airasia, Malaysia Airlines and moreeeeee did have a great customer services.  (can't remember the rest). But it based on my personal experience. Kudos and keep it up!

XOXO,
Jujie

Packed.

I've got packed, hectic and crazy schedule nowadays!  I was updating my calendar thingy just now and shot, it is 13th of May already. I had some free time this afternoon (not that free actually, I just being lazy) and I decided to give a visit to my blog and write a little. And again I'm doing this live from MIC's office. Haha. I was down with fever and flu few days ago and slightly regaining my health again. Might happened because I was too tired and plus the condition of the weather here in Brunei. Sekejap panas, sekejap hujan.

It's been 3 months since the last time I went back to my hometown. And guess what I missed home so much. I can only go back on this coming July. Little that I know, I've never been away from home for more than 3 months. The challenges of working abroad I guess. I missed my dad's 50th birthday, I missed the Arie's family mothers day celebration for my mom and also expected to miss my cousins wedding on the end of this month and another one earlier next month. How cruel life is.

Nevertheless, the hectic schedule actually help to remedy a bit of this homesickness. Whether the in-office or off-office activities. It does help actually. So my dear diary for this months;

5th May 2016. Snorkeling + Diving. It was my first time, I didn't know what to wear so end up wearing my gym outfit. HAHA.

Women Of Destiny Conference at church. 5-7 May 2016.

Simple celebration at home which I missed out. Dad's 50th birthday. He texted me that he was sad that I am not there which made me cry out loud. Love you dad!

Mother's Day Celebration for my mom. So sweet my dad and the siblings cause they prepared all of that.

Daily routine. Facetime-ing with the fambams. Thank God for the evolving technologies.

Be good to each other and keep the positive vibes on peeps!

Love,
~Jmarlyn~

As of 10th April 2016

Greetings blogger!

Finally, I updated my blog's template and arranged each item properly. Big shout out to newbloggerthemes.com for creating and designing such an adorable templates. I wanted to add background music to my blog but the thing is, I failed to do so. I've tried few steps that I google-ed but nay, it didn't succeed. Where do I get the song's URL which end with .mp3? I stuck there. Therefore, I decided to just arrange it some other time. Perhaps if any of you, who read this post can help me to resolve this matter? Just drop it at the comments area down there. Thank you in advance :)

Yes, it's 10th of April already! MIC new semester just began last week and as usual time really does flies if student's were around. My schedule for this semester quite pack but never mind I preferred going to class with the students rather than stuck with the office's work. I hoped and prayed that I'll get along well with my new students just how it works with my previous and current students.

Spent my weekend by doing a revision for my upcoming exam. I barely able to finish 1 chapter within this 2 days and I still have 9 more chapters to go. Just for 1 subject. The other subject? No comment. My goodness, so this is how it felt to study and work in the same time. Just after I know that I've been accepted to pursue my study in Master, I am so damn happy and I thought it's gonna be cool and I can't wait to start. But then, the reality bites me. It's matter of balancing every single aspect of my life. I know I will survive, but how? The question remain unanswered.

And I have a new commitment again. Thank you bapa! I'll treat that as my advance birthday gift. I am excited but nervous at the same time. I hope it will lead me to become a more responsible person. At least, I'll know where my money will go every month and financial management it is.

So, as a conclusion for today's post, I'll summarized on what I've learnt about "Managing and Performing" in the Organization and Business Management Subject;

1. Managing in the new competitive landscape (basically this sub-topic discuss how it works on managing in different, latest situation in business world)
  • Globalization
  • Technological change
  • Knowledge management
  • Collaboration across boundaries

2. Managing for competitive advantage (this topic urged the manager to emphasize more their organization's specialty compared to their competitors)
  • Innovation
  • Quality
  • Service
  • Speed
  • Cost competitiveness
  • Sustainability
3. The functions of management (it discuss the basic functions of management and the managers need to mastered all of it)
  • Planning
  • Organizing
  • Leading
  • Controlling
4. Management level and skills
  • Top-level managers (strategic managers)
  • Middle-level managers (tactical managers)
  • Frontline managers (supervisor/sales managers)
  • Working leaders with broad responsibilities (interpersonal, informational, decision)
  • Management skills (technical skills, conceptual and decision skills, interpersonal and communication skills)
(Bateman & Snell, 2013)

And, it's a wrap! Till next time. XOXO

Private Sector

Greetings everyone,

Can't believe that it's Wednesday already. Well, the semester break had officially started on this week. No students, no classes, everything is no, #ijoke. Again I'm updating my blog live from the office. Just finished marking one of student's assignment and upon finishing it I realized I need a sneak peak here in my blog just to burst out things that bother my head.

So, here's the thing. I am currently working in one of the private college here in Brunei. Meaning to say that I'm in private sector. Long story short, I believe that everyone is aware with the current situation of global economy crisis and yes, this country also affected by this matter. Sales is not good, number of students allocated for each private college drop and in term of business I believe the profit also drop.

During annual dinner last year, I remembered the owner of this college mentioned that there 'might be' a cut down of headcounts. That 'might be' became reality. Two of my colleagues will going back to their hometown next week. And about few more will going back this September. I thanked God that I'm not in the list and great news is I've been offered to renew my contract. The management called me earlier last month regarding this matter but I kept things low to avoid rumors spreading within the company. I am grateful.

Deep thought about this, I realized that this is the consequences working in private sector. I felt 'kesian' with my colleagues who'll end their journey in this college. I am sad. I'm like talking to myself, 'Ok, we have to faced this kind of things when working in private sector'. And I started to envy those who are working with the government where they doesn't have to undergo this kind of things. I know I should not compare it. I know I should be grateful. It just, I am sad of this situation.

I believe in the power of prayer. Ever since I got this job, I continued to pray about it and as a result of that, I am still here.

I tried to discuss this matter with someone that I believe will understand and comfort me via Whatsapp last night. I tried to explain everything, tried to share every story regarding this re-structuring matter. But end up having a fight. I haven't finished my story and questions keep coming up, I texted the direct points but being accused of using flowery words and I should call rather than texting. What am I supposed to do when I'm not good in expressing things verbally. I get mad and I am sad again. Hoping to get comforted but it just getting worst.

Why don't I share it with my parents? Yay or Nay? Nay. A biggg NAY NAY. I don't want them to get worried of me. As simple as that. Decided to have my own 'me-time' today. I'm gonna devote myself to works and assignments today. No social networks. Now, it's like I'm punishing myself. Meaning to say, heart-broken sangat2 lah tu. I am sad :'(

Just Eating My Feelings Away

Happy Sunday Dearest Bloggers,

The weekend is coming to an end in few hours. I wish tomorrow is still Sunday tho. Haha. Well, well, well, there's no weekend for me cause I am stuck here in front of my laptop, trying to finished those bundles of works. And please let me rest for a while by updating my blogs.

So, it's the time of the month where I am eating my own feelings, being emotional out of no where and grumpy all the times. If only man understand this kind of situation I personally think we'll gained a world peace in different perspective.

What I did just now was blog-walking over my own blog. Andddd I'm like, whoaaa I've been through a lot, gained a lot, lose a lot. I just want to emphasize the word "LOT" tho. While blog-walking, I read through some of my breaking-up posts, (June 2011 - Dec 2012) and the post go on actually until 2013/2014 (it never really ends). Reading all of that again, I am about to cry, I guess the scars is still there, the wounds healed tho. June-Dec 2011: dark period.

But somehow, I am proud of myself for being able to get through all of that. Good job jujie!

Seriously, I don't even understand my own post today.

Random Mumblings V2

Hello Bloggers,
A quick sneak peek in the office while working. Gosh, I'm being so unproductive today. 2 hours since 8.00 am and I have done nothing, n.o.t.h.i.n.g. I don't know if I am the only person who sometimes felt like this during working hours or anyone else also experienced the same things. I don't know.

Anyway, how's your CNY break? Despite the short break, I went back home at Ranau. 4 days, 3 night should be good enough to spend time with the family and friends. Most of the time, I stayed at home. Resting well cause I really really need it. Groceries shopping with the siblings, baking (I've improved my skills, yay!), cooking, house chores, went to church, dinner with the fam, short hangout with the friends & love and fellowship with the fam (mum's side and I've given chance to took part in the ministry which I am humbled and grateful). Less social network and live the moment. Holiday spent well and I thanked God for that.

So, I am back here in Brunei on last Tuesday. Back to reality and those reality does bites. My students were doing well with their assignments, everyone was on track except the few naughty one. Slide developer's task, only a little bit of progress (which stressed me lot), my study, I got 3 pending assignments to be submitted. T.T

Tapiiii, nda apa, "With God Nothing Is Impossible" - Luke 1:37, the verse that I've shared with them during the fellowship. What's the purpose of I'm sharing it if I am not applying it in my own life, not walking my talk. Right?

Alright, I should back to work, I've expressed everything that I need to in here. No photo cause I'm lazy to upload. Haha. Till' then.

XOXOX,

New Commitment

Hello bloggers,

Last working day for this week, yayy! Few more hours then I'll fly back to KK again for my cousin's wedding. Uhh, can't wait..can't wait.. running away from this sick environment for a while. It's only the second week of 2016 and I feel demotivated already.

Here's the thing, after postponing it for about a year, by the grace of God I became student again, another yayy! I've enrolled in MBA courses in OUM. Just registered last week at KK Learning Centre and I've attended the briefing for post-grad students as well. I've picked fully-online method to study because it'll cost me a lot if I have to go back and forth to KK every weekend to attend the lecture. Another reason it'll cost me a lot, I am paying all the fees by myself. I have to cut my budget on shopping and any unnecessary stuff. *menangis dulu*. Beside that, oleh kerana saya bekerja sambil belajar, I think that the fully online method is the best for me. So, how I'm gonna juggle my time? By having a proper and discipline time management. Have to endure it for 2 years. Oh God. T.T *demimu sekeping ilmu*. But somehow, I am happy  and simply grateful for this new commitment and can't wait to start cause I got all my textbooks already in this first semester.

But that's not the reason I feel demotivated. It's a work related issues. Besides conducting lecture here in this college, I am grateful actually that they have entrusted me to get involved in implementing a new course in this college as a slide developer. The thing is, it is not easy. "This unit guide is crazy", as per my colleague. Since last week, I've been struggling to finish it and I have 6 topics over due. It's really really stressing me out till the point it affect my emotion and eating habits. I've to get ready for my lecture in class, then conduct the lecture, guide the students in their assignment andddddd get back into this slide developer thingy. Ohh, I need a refresh button.

Hoping that this weekend getaway will refresh me. Enjoy your weekend :)

H.a.p.p.y N.e.w Y.e.a.r 2016

Warmest new years' greetings for everyone! Wishing you all a fruitful and blessed year ahead. Finally I can spare some time to update my blog. Super tight and hectic schedule during Christmas. Gosh. How I wish I have a longer holidays.

Well, what I can say about 2015, if I were asked one word to describe it, my answer would be 'DYNAMIC'. Yes, 2015 was indeed a dynamic year for me. Going through a long time awaited break-up, breakthrough at workplace and my personal life, done things that I never experienced before and so much more. Ups and down, that's normal I think.

For 2016, I can just smile. I don't know how, but one thing for sure;

"God's blessings will overtake you- Deuteronomy 28:1"

Amen.

New Year's gift from me to myself.

Verification.Ver_6

This semester, I've been assigned as a setter for the Project Management's Assignment 1. Creating an assignment for the students is not an easy task for me. Before we release it, the assessment have to undergo few stages where it will go to the Verifier, Head of Department, Second Head of Department and last but not least is the Moderator (normally the MOE). I'm in the second stages right now and I came out with SIX (6) versions already. Amendments, amendments and amendments. Let's pray for an approval. Hard work will pay off. I believe and have faith on it!

Enjoy your weekend fellas~

2015 Halloween Party! (Late-Post)

Well, well, first week of November is gone. 3 more weeks to go then we'll enter my favorite month of the year. Hello everyone, how's life? Hoping that everything was good. So, here's the story, I've joined Crossfit here in Brunei about 6 months ago, by joining this it allows me to mingle with the new community among Crossfit members which is very good. They always have this gathering outside of the box (gym) just to strengthen the bond between us and we'll be able to get to know each other more.

Last Saturday I think I've mentioned it in my blog that I'll be attending my first ever Halloween Party! And yes, so much fun. Rather than emphasizing the 'Halloween', it is actually more on gathering, costume party and farewell party to one of the coaches in Berakas Box. The themed foods and deserts were all nice, the games were so much fun. Thanks to the Mogards for hosting the party.

So here's some photos during that night. Guess what my character is? Haha

Group photo. Sick! Haha
Before the Group Photo. Squeeze everyone!

Okay we have Female Ghost from the 50's, Mickey Mouse, Greece Princess, Minnie Mouse (Yeah, I know, not so Minnie), Sadness from Inside Out, A killer and A 'cereal' killer. Hahaha

Representative from JBox. Spotted Justin Bieber and Taylor Swift there!

Out of order!

Holaaa~~~~
My brain is totally not working properly today. Like I'm out of order. I was sorting out my lessons plan for next week this morning, then I continued with the teaching materials. I was dealing with this topic "project manager vs team manager". After browsing through Mr. Google, checking it in 3 different e-books, I stopped. It's confusing, confusing and confusing. Dear Mr. Brain, please work properly after this. I've a veryyyyyy long to-do list this weekend. T.T

By the way, Happy Halloweens dear bloggers! Gonna have my first ever Halloween party tonight with the CF's members. Yippi!

xoxo,

Random Mumblings

Facts;
  • What kind of people that do good to others but they have their hidden agenda in there, expecting that person will pay his/her kindness? Ridiculous. Itu tidak ikhlas nama dia k.
  • We cannot expect people to be there for us 24 hours, 7 days per week. Physically. That is nonsense.
  • We have this kind of person who's always blaming others for anythings. Dearest people of this kind of attitude, please once in a while check yourself up. Who knows that the 'anythings' that happened is all because of you. When you're pointing your index finger to other person, remember that the other 4 fingers are pointing on YOU. My primary teacher taught me that. Come on!
  • We also have this kind of people whom their level of busybody-ness is very high. I suggest you to focus on your own life first k. Get a life please :)
  • There's always people who doesn't act their age. Sometimes? Ok, acceptable. But most of the times. Oh no, that's totally burdensome. Kindly grow up.
  • Okay, every family have their own ways on treating their kids. But please, please and please. Don't expect the other will treat you the same. Never. Inside your home and the outside world is totally a different league.
.................to be continue................

Back off negative vibes.
