Customer Service

Free 1 slot this afternoon and I've to invigilate students' exam later on by 3.30 pm. So I've few minutes to update my blog. The sudden urge to write on something again. Well, after the lunch break just now, I opened up the Reader's Digest Malaysia site and the article by Kathy Buchanan with a title of "Are you being served?" caught my attention and end up reading it thoroughly. Based on my business-education background, I am totally agree with her points. With that I meditate on myself regarding my own experience with this customer services.

I'm that kind of person who will ask lots of questions if I don't understand or unsure on certain things. Thus, I always took the benefits of the moderns Information and Communication Technologies nowadays to get in contact with the customer service department in any kind of organization especially in Malaysia. I'll file my inquiries normally via email or phone call. But since I'm currently working abroad, sending an email was my first choice. To save my phone bills of course!

Some organization did provide a very good customer service, some just so-so and some just totally need to fix their customer service. Just recently I emailed the customer service in one of the Malaysian automobile company. Since I'm gonna have my first car inspection service, of course I have tons of questions to be ask. The thing is, the person in charge of my inquiries does not answer my questions at all. Not once, but twice! She did replied but she's not answering my questions and asked me to call their toll free-number. I tried to call but since I'm out of the country, I couldn't reach them even I dialed it together with the country code number. I even arrange my email properly and check all the grammars (I'm still learning to improve on this) to ensure that she will understand my questions. But the result is still the same. Kind off disappointed. I am still trying to figure out ways on getting the answer. I hope they can fix this. Should focus on the customer's email also, not the phone calls only.

But looking on the bright side, most of the organizations such as PTPTN, Zalora , OUM, BKNS, UMS, Airasia, Malaysia Airlines and moreeeeee did have a great customer services.  (can't remember the rest). But it based on my personal experience. Kudos and keep it up!

XOXO,
Jujie

Random Mumblings

Facts;
  • What kind of people that do good to others but they have their hidden agenda in there, expecting that person will pay his/her kindness? Ridiculous. Itu tidak ikhlas nama dia k.
  • We cannot expect people to be there for us 24 hours, 7 days per week. Physically. That is nonsense.
  • We have this kind of person who's always blaming others for anythings. Dearest people of this kind of attitude, please once in a while check yourself up. Who knows that the 'anythings' that happened is all because of you. When you're pointing your index finger to other person, remember that the other 4 fingers are pointing on YOU. My primary teacher taught me that. Come on!
  • We also have this kind of people whom their level of busybody-ness is very high. I suggest you to focus on your own life first k. Get a life please :)
  • There's always people who doesn't act their age. Sometimes? Ok, acceptable. But most of the times. Oh no, that's totally burdensome. Kindly grow up.
  • Okay, every family have their own ways on treating their kids. But please, please and please. Don't expect the other will treat you the same. Never. Inside your home and the outside world is totally a different league.
.................to be continue................

Back off negative vibes.

Only hate the road when you're missin' home.. -unknown

Taken using my Vivo y15 smartphones
Took the photo above few days ago. My friend and I went to Brunei International Airport to fetch our friend who's coming back from KK. While we're waiting at the arrival hall and the photo above was my front view at the moment, my mind was actively thinking about lot of things. I suddenly remembered the 'smile game' that was mentioned in the devotional article that I've read last week. The game is as simple as you just have to count how many people smile on that day. And having that in my mind, I watched and analyzed the peoples' action and reaction while waiting and arriving. Some was traveling alone, some with their family or friends, some mother with their kids only, some carrying heavy luggage, some just freely walking with their backpacks. While the peoples' who was waiting, some was patiently standing up, some sitting back like me, some wondering around in front of the gate and so on. One thing for sure, their faces when they met their loved ones is costly and very precious. And I wondered if I've ever shown that kind of expression when I met my family at the airport. I think I did, Haha.

Long story short, then I had my family in my mind. It was just about 2 weeks ago, I was at my hometown, spending my holiday with them and at the moment I am here again, due to my commitments to dearest mankind. *sigh* The airport reminded me of my own country, my hometown, my homechurch and remind me mostly the peoples that I love especially my family. I think people who's working far away from their family are dealing with this kind of issues. I have no idea on how to solve this matter. At this moment.

unexpected December.

It's December! Whoaa the time is flying so fast i guess. Christmas mode activated. Well, through all the excitements and hopes for this coming December, I really really didn't expect that something will came out and ruined the whole mood of mine. Almost 3 years here in Umskal, I didn't even think that I'll got problems with the hostel administration.
I just can't cope with a close-minded person. Seriously! This post might be a sensitive issues but just let me express myself here. Well, there is 4 persons staying in our dorm. Our dorm look like an apartment since we have 3 rooms, a toilet, kitchen, living room and so on. Me, my roommates, one Chinese girl from KL, and also a Malay girl from somewhere in Peninsular. This Malay girl, report us to the student council that we brings pork in the dorm. She said she saw the tin inside the dustbin. The students council visited us and report it directly to the hostel administration. And I'm like $#$@%^&%%#@$#&^&!!!
We did bring it long time before, but on that day we're busted, it was the Chinese girl actually, she did admit to us but did not admit to the student council. We can't put all the blame on her since she is a junior. Another thing is, because of this case, the hostel administration found out that I switched room with my friend. So, double trouble for me. For this one, I didn't want to put the blame on anyone since it was my own fault for switching illegally. Humbly, I accept that one. But for the pork case, I really can't tolerate with!
Hellooooo, other students bring it too FYI. We eat it secretly in our own room, we use our own eating tools, we don't even share spoon, plate or anythings. But if you are not comfortable with that, you can always discuss with us first,  negotiate with us first. Not directly report us to them. We can always settle this by our own first. Girl, you are in a 3rd year, same like me. Don't you even know how serious it could be if you report it to the administration? You have no idea what the three of us facing on right now. Being scolded by the "madam" yesterday, and I don't know what's next.
The girl that report us, don't even dare to look at us now, staying in her own room for all days and night. I know you are afraid of us now. Dare to report us but didn't dare to speak directly to us. Seriously, what kind of person are you girl?
I always respect others people religion, belief and culture. In the same time i really do hope that they'll respect mine too. Peace no war!

Technophobia.

Hello bloggers. Whoaa, its almost 11.30pm. Me just woke up. Such a tiring day, finding a company that willing to work with us for our Financial Accountancy's assignment is not easy as we thought. They're giving us too many excuses, too many reasons to not be able to cooperate with us. All we can do is be patience.
Okey, back to the main point, TECHNOPHOBIA. Where actually I got this word from? Hmm.. the story begin, earlier in this morning I got Cyber law class, I totally forgot that our lecture today will be handled by our guest lecturer from UM. My Cyber law's lecturer did mention it last week but somehow I forgot it. Dr.Abdul Samad, if I'm not mistaken that is the guest lecturer name. He's lecturing us about Personal Data Protection Act today, He's conducting a research about that act if I'm not mistaken and that's why he's so expert in this act. In the middle of his lecture, I spotted this word in his slide show, technophobia. It's the first time I ever knew this word, so I jotted it down. Word of the day! haha xD
All I know is its the fear of loss of privacy. Curious of its real meaning, I Google it just now to find out the meaning. So,its actually the fear or dislike of advance technology or complex devices such as computer. Lots of people avoiding to use an e-commerce transaction or services due to this problem. Aigoooo.. really want to meet people that having this problem. Its very unique! Okey lah, enough for today, will continue to work on my assignments, thousand of assignments, wish me luck!!
Thanks for reading :)
